Rough Cuts

My first full-length album is done. I recorded and produced it all by myself, without my mom’s help or anything. It is called Rough Cuts for a reason. I am one who is tempted by doing the absolute most. Said another way, it’s easy for me to get carried away. I could have spent years on the album, crafting each song with string sections or choirs and so on, yet I decided to keep it as simple as possible. This decision was also made to make the recording as similar to my solo live performances as possible (don’t worry there are a few bells and whistles). Keeping with the theme of simplicity, it was all recorded with one microphone in one room.
